About Driver’s Education for English Language Learners
Ready to get your driver’s license, but need support with language barriers? Our Driver’s Education class for English Language Learners (ELLs) is designed to help you gain the skills and confidence to pass both the written and driving tests—while supporting your English language development.
Through this program, you will receive:
- Classroom instruction in English, tailored to the needs of ELLs
- Support with understanding the Driver’s Manual, road signs, and traffic laws
- Vocabulary-building exercises related to driving and safety
- Test preparation to help you succeed on the written and road skills exams
- Experienced instructors who are familiar with the challenges ELLs face
