Matt Fischer

Matt Fischer is primarily the High School Equivalency Certification (GED) teacher at Southwest Adult Basic Education- Marshall. Matt also teaches some of our on demand classes such as Welding- Blueprint, electrical, CDL/Diesel Mechanic, Computer skills, and College Readiness. He lives in Marshall, graduated high school in Marshall, graduated with a Secondary Math Education degree at SDSU and obtained a Masters in Education with Math Emphasis at SMSU. Matt has been with SW ABE-Marshall since the summer of 2014. He taught in the K-12 school system for 3 years before joining SW ABE-Marshall. Matt is married and has a daughter and son. Matt enjoys watching shows on streaming services, watching the packers and his fantasy football teams, audio books and podcasts, and weekly DnD.

Matt is from Marshall, but he was born in Pipestone.
