On-Ramp to Career Pathways Program

The On-Ramp to Career Pathways program is a grant from the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) that makes our career readiness programs possible. It is a collaboration between Southwest Minnesota Private Industry Council (SWPIC)/CareerForce and Southwest Adult Basic Education. It is designed to help adults, particularly those facing employment barriers, by providing contextualized basic skills training leading to the Career Pathways program.

The program focuses on adults who want to earn a certificate and improve their employability. It partners with Adult Basic Education (ABE) consortia to deliver English Language Learners (ELLs) bridge classes that supports participants in their career goals.

The On-Ramp program is open to adults interested in enhancing their career prospects. Eligibility requirements may vary depending on the specific training program, and those interested in enrolling can contact Southwest ABE-Marshall at 507-537-7046 for more information.
